Raised in Charlottesville, Andy joined Zunka, Milnor & Carter, Ltd. after extensive practice with a prominent New England firm where he was a shareholder and director. During his career as a litigator, Andy has successfully represented individuals, businesses, and institutions in various complex matters in state and federal courts. His practice areas include commercial disputes, construction law, real estate and land use law, first- and third-party insurance litigation and coverage issues, and personal injury and wrongful death defense. Andy also serves as counsel to corporate boards and associations and represents clients in contract and lease negotiations. He is frequently associated as local counsel in litigation matters for regional and national companies. In 2025, he was appointed State Representative for the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, an invitation-only organization of vetted defense and corporate counsel and industry executives recognized for achieving professional distinction. During law school, Andy clerked for the Hon. Edward L. Hogshire in the City of Charlottesville Circuit Court.
